Biman Bangladesh Airlines has started direct flights to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates from January 25 for the convenience of passengers.
Tickets for this route are open for sale from 3pm today. From now on, four flights a week will be operated on Dhaka-Sharjah route for the convenience of passengers.
This information was given in a press release signed by Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Tahera Khandaker on Thursday.
It is said that Biman flight (BG-51) from Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport will leave every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Monday at 10:30 pm local time and reach Sharjah at 2:15 am local time. Flight BG-152 will depart from Sharjah at 4 am every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and reach Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong at 10:45 am local time and leave Chittagong at 11:45 am and reach Dhaka at 12:30 pm.
The notification further said that passengers will be able to visit any sales office of Biman from 3 pm today.

Passengers are also asked to be present at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at least eight hours before departure with the necessary documents to complete all activities as per Travel Advisory.
