Kaysar Hamid Hannan,PBA, Malaysia: Bangladeshi Students’ Association of University Putra Malaysia (BSAUPM) organized an discussion and cultural program on the occasion of glorious 49th victory day of Bangladesh. The program was held at the Dewan Taklimat Serdang Auditorium in the Chancellory Building of the University at around 2.50 pm on Saturday.
Expatriate students participated in this event with a very festive atmosphere to share with everyone the joy of victory in exchange for the blood of millions of martyrs. The event was chaired by the president of the organization Zahirul Islam. General secretaries Md. Zohrul Islam and Phd Student Deepa Yasmin anchored the program. Professor Zainal Abedin Talib, the director of Putra International Center (i-PUTRA) was present as the chief guest at the function.
In his address, the chief guest wished everyone the victory and appreciated the contribution of Bangladeshi students. The newly elected President of BSAUPM and Bangladeshi Students Union of Malaysia, Zahirul Islam, wished victory and urged all to work for the country.
Also VP of BSAUPM Nurunnabi Majumder, former president Md Shahabuddin, agronomist Al Mamun, Associate professor Abdullah Al Mamun (DIU), and the ex-president of the BSUM, Faizul Haque were delivered their speech.
VP Imtiaz Hossain, Marjia Mahua of Shera kontho, Alu and her mother Doli Rani Kar, Ramin Reza Parisha, Ikra, Masum and others were performed at the cultural event. Also, children’s drawing and quiz contests were organized at the event.
Executive members of BSAUPM, VP Mohammad Reza, joint secretary Ismam, Apurbo (Culture), Shadi (social Welfare),Armia (media),representatives of various student organizations including university’s students and their families were attended.
