PBA,Dhaka: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) suspended director Khandoker Enamul Basir expressing concern about his security and demanded protection. Regarding DIG Mizanur, he said that he (Mizanur) is a woman torturer and violent man. He is distraught at me because he did not report his favor.
Today, on Monday (June 10th), in an interview with PBA, he claimed his security and said that DIG Mizanur is a very violent man.
He called Mizanur’s allegations as fabricative and digital fraud, and said that the person who could have made such a fraud could be more fraudulent. May be physically abused or harassed by the police.
The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has started investigating the illegal assets of the deputy inspector general of police (DIG) Mizanur Rahman, who withdrew from duty on charges of torture of women. Mizanur Rahman complained that ACC’s director Khandaker Enamul Basir took bribe Tk 40 lakh in the investigation.
In response to this allegation, the ACC filed an investigation committee against Enamul. Based on the report of the investigation committee on Monday (June 10th), the commission director Khandaker Enamul Basir has been suspended.
ACC chairman Iqbal Mahmud said the new officer was appointed to investigate the corruption of DIG Mizan. However, the ACC Chairman said that Enamul Bachir was not fired on the allegation of taking bribe from the controversial Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Mizanur Rahman.
He said, “He has been suspended due to violation of the discipline of the commission and the transfer of information. A departmental inquiry will be conducted against him.
Meanwhile, Khandaker Enamul Basir told PBA that he was not disturbed for being suspended. He claims that he will be proved innocent if a neutral investigation is conducted. He also said that the ACC authorities have made the right decisions by suspending him, if not, from the influential council, I was influencing the investigation from the post. It’s rather good for me. No one will question anybody about the ACC investigation.
However, he complained that there was some trouble with promotion before the authorities. But he believes that it will not affect the investigation. He said that he has no statement about the present decision of the ACC. He will accept whatever he thinks right. Because, this is the institutional system. If there is a complaint against anybody in the organization, then investigate the organization’s responsibility. In this, I do not see anything wrong. The temporary suspension of me, I think it is also right.
He claimed that the DIG Mizan leaked audio was completely fake. He challenged me and said, check my mobile and see if he has talked to me.
Enamul DIG told PBA about going to Mizan’s shop, I did not go to the shop to make a happy story with anyone. I went to check the possibilities of the store’s goods, to see where to find out. He said, there are goods worth 70/80 lakhs in the shop. I went there to see if there could be such money. The rest of the pictures were digital crimes. He created these photos by cropping and cloning photos from my wife’s Facebook ID. That can make such a kind of fraud, he can commit a bigger crime. So I’m concerned about my safety. He can physically harm me or harass me with the police. So I demand the security of the government.

However, as many obstacles as possible, he is not afraid, Enamul claim. He said that, he had to face such obstacles to investigate a large number of corruption.He said to PBA, “I had not been employed for 40 months before working against a big corruption.” I will be harassed for some time now because of the recommendation of the case against such a corruption. This is part of my performance, I think, I have accepted it.
