Kaysar Hamid Hannan , PBA, Malaysia: Bangladeshi Students Association of University Putra Malaysia (BSAUPM) organized a Fresher’s reception and new Executive committee Handover ceremony at Philp Kotler Hall, Faculty of Economics and Management. The event was held on 19th October 2019.
The honorable faculty member Associate Prof. Dr SM Nurul Amin delivered his speech as chief guest in the program anchored by General Secretary Mohammad Zohrul Islam and Sharmin Sultana. Moreover, International Students Association members, country representatives, prominent Bangladeshi persons, respected delegates, new Committee members, students and their family members were present in this magnificent function.
The whole program was divided into three segments. The first session started with the welcome speech of newly elected President Mr. Jahirul Islam. It was then followed by committee handover from previous committee. The second session was started by a very warm welcome from Mohammad Imtiaz Hossain, Vice president of BSAUPM and then Krishibid Harun or Rashid and Krishibid Al-Mamun.
Then the fresher’s received gifts and bouquet from the executive members. At the last session of the program, audience enjoyed a lively cultural program leading by Apurbo (Director of Culture and arts) while other performers were Atiya Islam, Saima, Sunanda, Antu, Sohan, Armia, Tanha, Marzia, Alo, Doly Rani, Jashimuddin, Ferdaus Iqbal, Hridoy, Abdullah Al mamun and Imtiaz. The charming performance was full of complete entertainment which conquered the heart of audiences. The relentless and collective effort of the students and executive members made the event successful and memorable.
The BSAUPM hopes to organize a number of initiative to enjoy studying and living in abroad as well as establish a strong bonding among all Bangladeshi, local and International students.
