PBA, JUST: Jashore University of Science & Technology (JUST) has announced a budget of 55 million 72 lakhs taka for the financial year 2019-20.
Yesterday, 17 June on Monday, at the 55th meeting of Regent Board in the administrative building conference room, the university’s treasurer Professor Md. Abdul Majid proposed the budget. After mentioning the budget, the members of the Regent Board gave their views and recommendations about the allocation of various departments of the University. Later it was unanimously approved at the meeting of the Regent Board.
In the meeting, there was discussed about the admissions and services of foreign students and also discussed about the establishment of an ‘International Service Center’.
In regent board meeting, there present JUST Vice-Chancellor professor Md. Anwar Hossain, Ph.D, Chief Scientific Officer of Jashore Regional Agricultural Research Institute Dr. Gobinda Chandra Biswas, former Vice-Chancellor of Sylhet Agricultural University(SAU) Prof Dr. Golam Shahi Alam, Chief Executive Officer of Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid, Chairman of Jashore Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Professor Mohammad Abdul Alim and other regent board members.
