DHAKA: Presidium member Moshiur Rahman Ranga has been made new Secretary General of the Jatiya Party (Ershad) after removing ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader.
Ranga said, “There is no reason behind changing the Secretary General. The Chairman has taken this decision to restore discipline in the party. Ruhul Amin Howlader was a member of Presidium, and will remain so.”
Moshiur Rahman Ranga has been given the responsibility of Secretary General. Apart from his designation as a presidium member, he will perform this as an extra responsibility, according to a press release issued from JP.
HM Ershad is the Chairman of Jatiya Party.
