PBA,Dhaka: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) detained Mithu Mia, prime accused of sensational school boy Siam killing case in Rupganj of Narayanganj.
He was arrested from Uttarkhan area in the capital early Friday after around three months of the murder.
Rab legal and media wing senior assistant director ASP Mizanur Rahman and acting on a tip-off the elite force arrested Mithu and four others members of human trafficking and cheater in the area.
During the drive, Rab seized a good number of passports and fake visas from their possessions.
Earlier on September 13, Mithu and his three associates kidnapped a class-I student Siam, son of Mofazzal and demanded Tk one lakh as ransom.
A week later, police recovered the body of Siam.PBA/AH
